2. What documents do I have to provide when collecting my rental car?
You will have to provide a valid driving license for each driver, a valid passport or identity card for each driver, a valid credit or debit card to cover the deposit amount. For cash deposits please contact us.

3. What are the accepted payment types with AmberCar?
We accept cash, bank transfers and most credit/debit cards from internationally recognized credit card companies - such as American Express, Diners Club, Eurocard / Mastercard and Visa. For Crypto currency payments please contact us.

4. What is the minimum and maximum driver’s age to rent a car?
Minimum age is 23 provided that driver holds a driving license for at least 3 years. Maximum age is 70 years old.

5. How do I make a car rental booking with AmberCar?
You may book online fast easy and secured, using our website or you may contact us directly via email or phone to arrange your booking.

6. At which locations do you provide delivery and collection of rental cars?
We are able to deliver/collect at any major resort in Cyprus including Limassol, Paphos, Nicosia, Larnaca, Ayia Napa, Protaras, Coral Bay, Pissouri, Larnaca airport, Paphos airport.

7. Is there any additional charge of using my credit/debit card as payment method?
No, there is no any extra charge of using a credit card.

8. Is there any kind of refund in case I return the rental car earlier?
No, there is no any refund in the case you decide to return the rental vehicle earlier.i

9. Is there any extra charge in the case of late car returning?
If the Hirer fails to return the car on time, he will be charged for the delay accordingly.

10. Who is allowed to drive the rental car?
Only the driver/s that is/are referred on the rental agreement is/are allowed to drive the rental car.

11. What do I have to do if the car breaks down?
In the case of a car breakdown, you should contact our 24/7 customer support service and you will be advised accordingly.

12. What should I do if I get involved in a car accident?
In this case you must first make sure not to move the vehicle, unless instructed by a police officer or insurance agent and immediately call our 24/7 customer support service for further instructions.

13. Can I drive the hired car in the Northern occupied area of Cyprus?
Cross border rentals are on request. Anyway according to the Insurance company Law in Cyprus, cars taken to the Turkish occupied area are not covered by any insurance company and we can not offer any kind of technical support in case of accident or breakdown.

14. Is it possible to ask for a car rental extension?
Car hire extension is usually possible, but subject to availability. To avoid any extension issues, you must inform AmberCar at least 48 hour prior the end of your rental.
